Fuel consumption/energy consumption SAIC-GM Buick Excelle

Fuel consumption test

On the day of the fuel consumption test, the highest temperature was 21℃, and the air conditioner was turned on during the whole journey, with a total distance of 113.2km, of which about 30% were congested sections and about 70% were unobstructed urban roads, with an average speed of about 30km/h, with a total fuel consumption of 8.54L and an average consumption of 7.54L per 100 km.

This result is not bad for a compact family car with a displacement of 1.5L I remember that the fuel consumption of the old Excelle we tested before was 9.6L/100km. Although the road conditions are different and cannot be directly compared, people who know Excelle should know that it did not have anything to do with fuel economy at that time. Nowadays, the new powertrain has brought an acceptable fuel consumption figure, which is already excellent compared with the old one.

The reasonable fuel consumption reference values (non-rigid indicators) given by us for various types of vehicles.

Pure economic mini-car: no more than 7 liters/100 kilometers.

Small car/hybrid: no more than 8 liters/100 kilometers

Compact/light SUV: not higher than 10 liters/100 kilometers

    Medium-sized car/medium-sized SUV: no more than 12 liters/100 kilometers.

Other models: not higher than 15 liters/100 kilometers

< Note 1: We don’t test the fuel consumption of pure hard-core off-road vehicles, large SUVs, performance sports cars and super sports cars >
< Note 2: Our reference values of reasonable fuel consumption at all levels are based on most models of this level. Individual non-mainstream vehicles have leapfrogged in size or displacement, which greatly affects the fuel consumption performance, so we are another matter >
