　　On the occasion of the victory of the 19th National Congress, East China University of Political Science and Law held an (enlarged) meeting of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee to convey and study the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, exchange and learn the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and study and deploy the implementation work. This semester, alumnus Mi Zhenrong, Party Secretary and President of the People’s Court of Chongming District, Shanghai, gave a lecture on "The 19th National Congress and Judicial Reform" in the third course of "Rule of Law in China" of East China University of Political Science and Law. The first lecture of this brand course this year was given by Julia, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of East China University of Political Science and Law, with the theme of ruling the country according to law and interpreting "procedural justice and judicial progress".

　　The training activity of "Theory and Practice of Party Building for College Students" for Shanghai counselors has been held in East China University of Political Science and Law for eleven years. East China University of Political Science and Law meets the major local strategic needs such as the construction of Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Center, encourages academic research innovation, provides social governance, legal construction and market economy decision-making consultation for the government and social organizations, accelerates scientific research innovation and achievement transformation, and serves the national legal construction.

　　East China University of Political Science and Law is the judicial research base of the Supreme People’s Court Free Trade Zone and the research base of Shanghai education legislation consultation and service, and it has many "firsts" in serving the construction of national rule of law. As the innovation base of philosophy and social sciences in Shanghai, China Free Trade Zone Law Research Institute participated in the drafting, consultation and formulation of many laws and regulations in Shanghai Free Trade Zone, and submitted nearly 100 expert suggestions. As the first think tank institution in China to provide high-quality foreign law consultation for judicial practice, the Foreign Law Identification Center has provided a number of Legal Opinions for Shanghai courts and Ningbo courts.

It has continuously deepened its cooperation and exchanges with domestic and foreign institutions and universities, serving the basic strategy of governing the country in an all-round way and realizing "two hundred years".
